Shattuck Avenue is a major city street running North-South through Berkeley, California, just west of the University of California, Berkeley and roughly bound by the Berkeley Hills to the north and Interstate CA-24 to the south.[1]
In North Berkeley, Shattuck Avenue is the location of the Gourmet Ghetto, an unofficial district known for its density of restaurants.
Shattuck Avenue also runs through the core of downtown Berkeley, location of the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
